Bohor saw-mill has had a long family tradition of processing and trading woods. Established as a small shop selling woodwork and cut woodwork, Pilana Bohor in its desire to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers, has expanded its range of products. The owner of the saw-mill, Dragutin Rešković, learned the secrets of successful woodcarving from his father, and that knowledge and experience has successfully been passed onto the third generation.

The products made of oak and beech tree have been recognized by the customers in Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Israel and Egypt, and therefore over 90 % of assortment is aimed at the demanding foreign markets. Being an export-oriented business, the saw-mill has secured a regular revenue, liquidity and jobs for their employees. The saw-mill employs 60 people on 30,000 m2 of production plant. The quantity of 20,000 m3 of woods of all kinds is processed annually, although the wood-industry shows a constant tendency for growth. Bohor, are produced from dried, naturally clean wood waste, with no binding material added, therefore our briquettes are convenient for use in fireplaces and stoves with thermal exchanger. Over the years, by means of investing significantly in the expertise of our employees and technology, as well as by continuous modernization of our production plants with modern machinery for wood processing, we have been expanding our production programs and increasing the production capacities in order to promptly satisfy the market needs. The chosen types of wood are strictly controlled by a laser machine, but it’s the people who finally check and control everything. The wood quality throughout the production process is constantly controlled and classified, so our buyer can be assured to get only the best.
